"Mediterraneo is not just a restaurant where you will go for a meal and leave... It is an atmospheric space right at the entrance of the canal to Gaios, in front of the green waters and the green islet, where the owners welcome you as guests in principle and not as passing customers who will take advantage of them and will never see them again!"

A proper example of a long standing family run restaurant. THE best seafood in Paxos, along with traditional dishes. The wine list extensive, and the owner explaining the menu to us was a lovely touch. If you take food seriously and you’re in Paxos then you must visit.

Amazing experience 💥. The best scorpion fish, and great to learn so much about the local fishes. Really a lot of attention and care paid about the fish and the food. Not just like any other restaurant! Coming back next year thanks spiros and family

If you like fish and prefer a quiet place away from the main street, this is the place to be! Very serene at the water, the service was impeccable and food was ready fast. I had the garlic bread with ansjovis and the bianco fish of the day and both were delicious. Would definitely come here again if I visit Gaios.
